Breakfast:
OIAJ!
Overnight oats in a jar :) Overnight oats are a quick and easy breakfast fix. They can be prepared the night before (as the name implies) or just an hour before you plan to eat.
I had just a smidge of almond butter left in the jar and had been holding onto it for some oiaj for a few weeks. I whipped mine together this morning before heading into work, so they sat for about 2 hours.
In the mix:
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup greek yogurt
- 1/2 banana, mashed
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- cinnamon
- leftover almond butter
Toppings (added right before eating)
- nature’s path pumpkin flax granola
- blueberries
- other half of banana, sliced
I was planning on making an oat/nut butter/banana/berry smoothie but this took it’s place. It had all the same ingredients, just a different form.
I’ve been toying around with the multiple posts per day v. one long overview post lately. I think I like the multiples. What do you guys think?
